What are you doing for sides?

For greens, my kids will eat asparagus, broccoli, fresh sauteed spinach, green beans and caesar salads. It's usually easy enough to grab a few fresh veggies on the weekend to go with whatever I have in the freezer.

Do you eat together as a family?

Most of the time we try to eat as a family. Having the studio kitchen meals definitely helps with that. But when that's impossible, (my 3 children are 15, 13 and 10 and all in sports and other extracurricular activities) I can sometimes cook early and have a plate in the refrigerator for when they get home. That means they won't be eating as much unhealthy fast food. I can also have them start the food, when they get home from school, so that we eat much earlier than we used to.
